Another sweep for the CFL's Top Performers, with the Edmonton Eskimos claiming all three spots in the Week Ten review. The third time this season that a team has collected all three spots in the weekly review of the Best pefrormances of the week.
James Franklin's impressive work agains the Argonauts last weekend caught the notice of the selection committee, as the Esks QB completed 29 of 38 passes, throwing for 335 yards and showing some strong on field leadership in Edmonton's 38-15 victory over the double blue.
The offensive display continued with the work of Kendial Lawrence, who collected 263 total yards against the Argos, grabbing second place for the top Performers of the week. When he wasn't making the highlight reel on offence, Lawrence's special teams play proved impressive, his 64 yard punt return for a TD making for a pivotal moment in the game.
The Esks completion of the Top Performers sweep went to Derel Walker, a favourite target for Franklin's passes, Walker collected over 164 yards on seven receptions, including his first career CFL touchdown.
