The Labour Day Classics and such have come and gone, Thanksgiving just around the corner and following it the CFL playoffs.
Time is dwindling for CFL stars to shine and make their mark on the Player of the Week and month awards for 2011.
Septembers selections were spread across the CFL from east to west as the cream rose to the top this month. From Montreal where Brandon Whitaker ran and caught his way to acknowledgement through Saskatchewan where Jerell Freeman stood out, a stop in Calgary finds Jon Cornish making the highlight reel regularly while the surging BC Lions propelled Paul McCallum on to higher recognition for September.
