One of the more anticipated of match ups is set for kick off tonight as the opening act of the Friday Night Football Double header, with the high flying and undefeated Edmonton Eskimos set to take on the surprising Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Canad Inn Stadium should be filled to the top tonight as the Eastern leading Bombers take on the West Division top dogs, seeking to send the Eskimos on to the defeated side of the CFL ledger for the first time this year.
Two quarterbacks who have shone early in this CFL season will lead their squads into tonights match, Ricky Ray who has found his game again under new head coach Kavis Reed will be looking to add to his statistics thus far in the year, while Winnipeg's Buck Pierce has been equally effective so far for the Blue and Gold, though injury worries for Pierce, who has been out on the sidelines in almost every game this season so far continue to make Bomber fans a tad nervous as each game progresses.
Below you can find information about the lead off match in tonight's double header, game previews and reviews, as well as other items of note from CFL.ca and other sources.
